Patrick Walsh (Class of 2018) of Wachusett Regional HS Talks With ITHMA (3/14/17)…

Patrick Walsh of Wachusett Regional High School is one of the top offensive line prospects in the class of 2018 as he already stands 6’5” and 275 pounds. The athletic tackle / guard helped lead Wachusett to a successful 2016 football season including a huge win at St. John’s Shrewsbury and Walsh is now hearing from a number of schools including Rutgers, Holy Cross, Boston College, UMass, Colgate and Brown. Walsh has already visited BC and UMass and enjoyed the trips saying both campuses had a lot of very interesting things going on. Walsh also plays basketball and baseball but indicated he would like to start throwing in track and field events. In his free time Walsh likes to work out and he listens to music by A$AP Rocky. His goals for senior year will be to perform well academically and to have a great senior season and to then get an athletic scholarship to a Division 1 college. Given his physical presence on the football field, Patrick Walsh should continue to receive significant interest from top Division 1 college football programs and he should represent Massachusetts very well at the next level.
